Horizon Europe IRE (2024-2028)

Intelligent Robotic Endoscopes, 2024-2028. The goal is to improve colono-scopy performance, addressing high clinical demand and operator-dependent cancer-detection rates. IRE uses large real-world datasets and digital twins to enable safer navigation inside highly variable human anatomy. Simulation, imaging, and learning techniques increase autonomy while ensuring clinician-in-the-loop control. The project aims to deliver next-generation endoscopic robots that enhance safety, reliability, and clinical outcomes.
